Back to normal life. After the holiday rush, it's almost a relief to return to routine. I can finally get back to exploring new place, like the Broad. When a friend from San Francisco came down to visit and asked if I wanted to go I was so in. In all honesty, I can get pretty cynical about modern art. But, I have to say what impressed me most about the Broad was how they present their pieces. As an art history minor, I can get snobby about the art descriptions next to pieces. But the ones at the Broad are actually very well written. I definitely reccomend going.

For something that requires a lot of walking and standing, comfort is key. I'm sure by now you can tell I love black and I love pairing leapord print with black. It's been pretty chilly here in LA lately, so a coat has actually been necessary.

This is a perfect song to listen to while looking at art. I feel like it helps you explore what each piece could mean. It also just makes me feel so happy and exploratory.
