EightyTwo

I've heard about barcades popping up around the city but I hadn't had the chance to go to one until recently.

Appropriately nestled in the Arts District, EightyTwo is filled with the classics. Centipede, Street Fighter, Galaga... they even had a game from the Original Tron.

The best part about it is how the price of the games hasn't changed. The most expensive one is $0.50. There are change machines and you can conveniently get cash at the bar, similarly to how you can get cash when you check out at the grocery store. It can get quite loud inside since it's all concrete, but you can take a nice break in the patio area.

The beer selection was good and their cocktails seemed delicious, but priced the way you'd expect anything in the Arts District to be - a bit expensive. There's a food truck just outside of the bar but if you leave and go down the same block a bit there was a small outdoor market set up with a few food trucks and fresh produce.

All in all, I can say I enjoyed my night.
