Gloriana
Last year, I kicked off my favourite month by fulfilling a life-long dream: seeing Bob Dylan live. While I greatly enjoyed that concert, I have to say I've kicked it up ten thousand notches this year. I went to my first festival, the Route 91 Harvest Festival.
It's going to be difficult to seperate the days, but I'll try my best. Looking back, it's one big blur of complete amazingness. (I should have written something at the end of each day, but for the first time in years I actually gave myself a vacation)
Route 91 Harvest Festival is a country music festival in Las Vegas. While Vegas in October is still well in the 100s, I was able to drive so that almost made up for the heat. My friends and I are planners, so we had our hotel booked months ago. All in all, between the 3-day pass, the hotel, and the gas... this was probably the least expensive festival I could attend. But even if it cost me more, it would be worth it. This festival was completely about the music. And so am I.
Fashion-wise, for the first day I absolutely had to wear my cowboy boots. I got them in Texas at a store called Boots & Jeans, so these babies are legit. I also absolutely love my fringe top, and knew this was the perfect place to wear it. I wanted to be slightly casual since I didn't know exactly what I was getting into, but I also wanted to embrace festival style.

Every act I saw was great. They got me up and dancing from 3 - midnight every day. But the one that really kicked that off was Frankie Ballard. I already enjoyed his music, but seeing him live made me love him far more. Frankie Ballard is adorable. There is no other way to say it. He was clearly having fun with being there and performing. I am definitely happy that I bought a Young & Crazy top.
A Thousand Horses
